How are my donations used?
You can elect for your donations to support specific programs or make unrestricted donations to support the overall mission of the organization. Unrestricted donations allow us to be more responsive to the needs of the community and our organization. Our board resolved at it's founding meeting that 98% of your unrestricted donations would go directly toward helping people.
What types of donations are accepted?
We currently accept:
Cash (in the form of check, credit or ACH),
Vehicles (new or used, running or immobile)
Are my donations tax deductible?
The Minority Freedom Community Fund is a designated 501(c)3 public charity (EIN 84-2163716). Cash & in-kind donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. If goods or services are exchanged as part of your donation, you will need to consult a tax advisor to determine your tax implications. If you need assistance connecting with a tax advisor, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Where can I send checks or physical goods?
