Donors & Doers is the annual convening of MFCF — a gathering where community builders, funders, founders, youth, and movement-makers come together to celebrate, strategize, and resource grassroots transformation.

 

Now in its sixth year, Donors & Doers returns to Aya House, a homegrown community space in Detroit's historic Eastern Market known as a third space for the City's most influential changemakers.

 

This year's theme, The Teen Takeover, reclaims a phrase the media uses to stoke fear about young people — and turns it into a celebration of youth power. Detroit's young people aren't a threat to our future; they ARE our future. Throughout the weekend, youth leaders will facilitate sessions, showcase businesses, compete in a video competition, and shape the conversations that determine how resources move in our communities.
